Newts & Axolotls are carnivores, and therefore require a high-protein type of diet. Zoo Med Axolotl & Aquatic Newt Food is a high-quality soft, and moist pellet formula that makes it easy to swallow, as these amphibians often swallow their foods whole. Feed juveniles once per day, and adults once every two days. Remove uneaten food within 10 hours and reduce number of pellets offered to your amazing amphibian. To serve, drop pellets on a bare portion of the tank, or a ceramic sinking feeding dish. Not for human consumption.
