It holds cuttlebones in place with a plastic barrier to ensure that it does not move while your bird eats. An additional piece of plastic protruding from the holder makes the perfect perch for your bird to use as they enjoy their meal and includes a pocket to catch debris and fragments from falling outside of the cage to make clean up easier.
